Day is passing, slowly but certainly

Today I went to the top of the new stair

To open a new chapter

For the rest of the new allotments in my age

Leaves fall one by one

All happened because God permits

My age is increased by one-on-one

All happened because God permits

But ... let me look backward

Turns out I still owe a lot

Yes, owe it to myself

Because my devotion is still mediocre

I touch my forehead

Forgive me God, my prostration is still far from solemn

I weigh my wish…

Hmm... still more worldly

Good heavens

Will I still see the same date and month in the next year?

Will I still feel the taste of this on the same date and month in the next year?

Shall I be given a chance?

Good heavens

Drops of tears is a sign of my weakness

Deep sadness is my sorrow

Good heavens

If You allow me to meet next year

Starting today, permit me to be more reverent in worship...

Scales of my world and hereafter are balance...

So that I can be perfect as Your khalifah

I am eager to see Your face there...

I am eager to see Your smile there...

PUISI KEHIDUPAN

Hari hari lewat, pelan tapi pasti
Hari ini aku menuju satu puncak tangga yang baru
Karena aku akan membuka lembaran baru
Untuk sisa jatah umurku yang baru
Daun gugur satu-satu
Semua terjadi karena ijin Allah
Umurku bertambah satu-satu
Semua terjadi karena ijin Allah
Tapi… coba aku tengok kebelakang
Ternyata aku masih banyak berhutang
Ya, berhutang pada diriku

Karena ibadahku masih pas-pasan
Kuraba dahiku
Astagfirullah, sujudku masih jauh dari khusyuk
Kutimbang keinginanku….
Hmm… masih lebih besar duniawiku
Ya Allah
Akankah aku masih bertemu tanggal dan bulan yang sama di tahun depan?
Akankah aku masih merasakan rasa ini pada tanggal dan bulan yang sama di tahun depan?
Masihkah aku diberi kesempatan?
Ya Allah….
Tetes airmataku adalah tanda kelemahanku
Rasa sedih yang mendalam adalah penyesalanku
Astagfirullah…
Jika Engkau ijinkan hamba bertemu tahun depan
Ijinkan hambaMU ini, mulai hari ini lebih khusyuk dalam ibadah…
Timbangan dunia dan akhirat hamba seimbang…
Sehingga hamba bisa sempurna sebagai khalifahMu…
Hamba sangat ingin melihat wajahMu di sana…
Hamba sangat ingin melihat senyumMu di sana…
Ya Allah,
Ijikanlah.
